Latest Additions!

  We have received from Precision Scale the GS-6 4-8-4 engines - versions for both SP and WP.  The quick turnaroud on this project means that some versions are still available. (04/27/12)
BPL has obtained an exclusive release of a new version engine in the DM&N / DM&IR 0-10-0 project from Precision Scale.  These have the early plumbing and lighting configuration, but are lettered for DM&IR.  Check the listings for all remainting pieces. (04/04/12)
  Pickup notices have come in for the lightweight CRI&P Rocky Mountain Rocket passenger sets from Precision Scale.  These will be here in a few weeks.  We still have a set available so there is a last minute chance to grab one of these beautiful packages. (02/26/12)
  We have received another O scale project from Glacier Park Models.  These SP Mk-2/4 2-8-2 Mikados have been selling quickly, but we still have one version available. (11/26/11)
  North Bank Lines has sent out 2-8-0 steam engines for NP (F-1 class) and SP&S (N-4 and N-5 classes.)  We have several versions still available for immediate delivery.  (01/07/12)
  Another favorite in the world of streamlined steam are the Dreyfuss designed NYC J-3a 4-6-4 engines.  Now in from Precision Scale , these epitomized the hights of class and style in passenger motive power. (11/26/11)
The first of 2 deliveries of Pointe St. Charles cabooses are now in stock from Overland Models.  We still have most CN versions available (11/15/11)

Next to arrive (after much patience) are the streamlined CB&Q Aeolus 4-6-4 engines, used in backup service for the dieselized Zephyr service. This project was developed and delivered by Precision Scale.  (10/19/11)
Deliveries have been slow these past few months, but several projects will be arriving in the next few weeks.  first to arrive are F class 2-10-2 engines for Southern Pacific from Glacier Park Models.  (10/19/11)
We have now receive the initial deliveries of T&P M-1/M-2 class 4-8-2 engines from  Precision Scale.  These have been produced in two paint schemes, a Russian Iron boiler and a more colorful 'Eagle' schemed.  Note: SOLD OUT (08/14/11)

For Milw Road fans we now have EP-2 Bipolars in stock from Precision Scale. 12 versions have been produced, from the Black, as delivered units, through Orange/Maroon schemes (with and without stripes) to UP Yellow/Gray. A perfect match to the companion EP-3 Quills (04/18/11)

What's New...

North Bank Lines has added a new caboose project to their listings.  This package is for prewar GN and SP&SP truss rod wood cabooses.  There are 25 foot and 33 foot versions with lettering for WW I era and for post 1926.  (05/15/12)
Extensive travel and research has led to Overland Models adding the folloiwng updates to their project listings:
  EMD SD70ACes diesels - the latest for most of the North American railroads, plus;
  EMD SD70ACs diesels - these are destined for service in overseas;
  GE Evolution diesels - additional motive power for North American class 1 lines;
  NS SD70ACe heritage diesels.  Honoring their founding roads, NS will be creating a variety of original paint schemes on modern power;
  NS ES44AC heritage diesels.  A continuation of their flash to the past, additional founding roads carried by GE power.  (03/22/12)
  W&R Enterprises has sent along some updates.  The NP T Class 2-6-2 and W-4 Class 2-8-2 engines are expected in the March/April timeframe.  They hgave added a small run of Class 14E tenders for mainline and  branchline service.  (01/17/12)
Back by popular demand, Precision Scale is working on a run of narrow gauge (HOn3) baggage and combines for D&RGW. (11/25/11)
Union Terminal Imports has sent out a flyer for a flat car project.  These are DODX (Dept of Defense) 72 foot heavy duty cars - to be done in 3 paint schemes.  (09/04/11)

Precision Scale has just released several new project announcements:
GN P-2 4-8-2s in both Black and Glacier Park Green - covering 1930s to 1950s;
C&NW H class 4-8-4s covering their full operational life;
Milw Road Bulldogs in single units and as sets.  (05/24/11)
Overland Models is now listing EMD NW-5 diesels in HO scale. Versions will be done for BN, C&E, FSUD, GN, MassCentral and SRR.  (04/21/11)
Precision Scale is planning to produce the Abraham Lincoln Funeral Train in HO scale. This train was previously produced in O scale.
  PSC has also added to their future projects list a small run of streamlined C&NW ES Class 4-6-2s in HO scale.  (03/31/11)
Coach Yard has updated the listings for the 1935-1938 PRR Broadway Limited. They have added a B70 baggage car to what will be an 8 car set.  The baggage cars will also be individually available - check the project link for all of the cars in the listing.
    Coach Yard is also indicating that the next train to be delivered will be the SP-UP-CNW "Joint Train" - the 1954 City of San Francisco, 8th train and 10th train.  Delivery is currently expected late in the first quarter of 2011.   (01/05/11)
North Bank Lines has provided BPL with another project announcement, SP P-12 4-6-2 steam engines.  There will be 5 different models of this never before produced class of engines.  (12/15/10)

A new dealer newsletter has arrived from W&R Enterprises.  Along with the delivery updates (see the projects page) there are two new steam engine project announcements:
  NP T Class 2-6-2 - Five versions covering branchline and mainline service from the late 1930s through the 1950s;
  NP W-4 2-8-2 - Rebuilt from the T class 2-6-2s, these engines lasted until the end of steam service on the NP.  These are the only W class engines that W&R has not produced.  (02/13/10)
