"NARROW GAUGE NUTS!!!! (Or is it….Narrow Gauge??……….NUTS #!%!!#!?*)
Given up on HOn3 because....it's to small, too light, too persnickety???!!!....is that what's botherin' you Bunkie?? Well hold your head up high!!, and check out a complete new "Line" of HOn3 from…who else?. The Division Point!
In our last ad I tried to get your attention for our new line of narrow gauge models coming from the Division Point. Well, the pilot models showed up at the NMRA convention in Ft. Lauderdale in July. I can truly say that the craftsmen at BOO-RIM have outdone themselves with this little jewel! Just the running qualities of this model are outstanding, and I believe that she will go out around 2-3 scale mile per, but the details are not to be believed! I actually thought there were several dimensional errors on the tender, it looked so small!, until we pulled out the micrometer and found it was within a scale ½ inch of prototype!!!

details!
Remember, we are running a Faulhaber motor with flywheel drive, and building from plans made by the masters of the narrow gauge scene, PBL themselves!!!! Our goal here at Division Point is to give you the same quality and fidelity to prototype, using their plans and drawings. We have included all the great details and concentrated on a silky smo-o-o-oth flywheel drive, coupled with all-wheel pickup to give you the same quality and performance right out of the box that you could only expect from the larger scales!! Add our hand painted Preiser crew (we may have these retouched with tiny details besides!!), Kaydee "N"-scale couplers and a real coal load, (from Chama of course!), water bags, coal rakes, directional lighting, and last but not least, the ultimate detail to "light up your modeling life"....lighted marker lamps!! All in HOn3!!!!
OK, our engines will be coming in series (did’ja think we were going to do just one???!!).
First on the ready track will be 4 versions of the K-27’s: #454, #456, #458 and #461. In deference to my RGS friends (and myself!), #461 will also come in RGS "Rising Sun" herald. These inside slanted piston engines, along with four K-28’s, #473, #474, #476 and #478 will arrive starting in October 2002. This "narrow-minded" project will be ongoing and only 100 of each class of these engines will be offered at a time. I will follow with 100 K-36’s, and 100 K-37’s, also in four road numbers each. Next year we continue the series with 100 more K-27’s of the outboard slanted piston version, and 100 more K-28’s in four different road numbers. Same plan for the next series of K-36’s, and K-37’s. Only 25 models of each road number for the K-27, and 25 each road number of the K-28 will be offered. They will come boxed in the Division Point Collector's sleeved, hinged box and sequentially numbered on box and loco.
