CUTE . . . . ?????!!!
I guess that´s how you would have to describe the DM&IR´s (actually the D&IR, and DM&N) "A" Class, and "P" Class Pacifics. Constructed in the early part of the century to pull the increasingly heavier consists of all steel cars, these Pacific types were made in two batches of 4 engines, and 3 engines each, the "A"´ first, followed by the "P"´s. Well liked by their crews, these engines served in branch line service well into the 50's on the 2- and 3-car passenger trains well known to the backwoods miners and customers of the DM&IR.

DM&IR #402 ready to go!!

The Division Point and Boo-Rim Precision of Korea are hard at work making these engines a reality as we speak! You can expect the silky smooth drive, completely lighted, Kaydee®-equipped, Preiser®-crewed model that you have come to expect from Boo-Rim . . . and The Division Point. These models will arrive this fall, with November being the target month. There are some excellent photos in Frank King´s book, Locomotives of the Duluth Missabe & Iron Range, and the recently released Color book on the DM&IR by David Schauer, Duluth Missabe and Iron Range Railway . . . in Color.

A very limited number of each class will be available. Order from your Division Point dealer now to avoid disappointment!
