Union Pacific passenger power additions to our already announced E unit project. Brought about by popular demand, we are doing two specific sets of Union Pacific EMD E8’s and E9’s. The primary power for the Route of the Streamliners, we will be modeling UP E8’s in A-B-B sets and UP E9’s in A-B-B sets.
The prototype in miniature, these locomotives are correct for the latter half of the 1950’s, include Union Pacific’s signature roof-mounted snow shields over winterization hatches, and the “no detail is missing” Challenger standard. These particular locomotives will be correct for both forthcoming Challenger and Coach Yard passenger trains.
You owe it to yourself to give special consideration to these versions of significant Union Pacific passenger power.
