Challenger will be modeling diners from a group of five
diners the Pennsylvania Railroad received from the Budd Company in 1939.
Important in their own right, elegant in their color, finish and decor, these
diners are especially significant to modelers and collectors of Challenger
models inasmuch as, in the prototype, these diners replaced the heavyweight
diner in Challenger's very well known earlier rendition of the full consist 1938
Broadway Limited as well as appearing in other Pennsylvania Railroad name
trains.
