Yellow and gray elegance. Challenger's City of San
Francisco will be a mix of ACF and Pullman cars just as in the prototype.
Different than any prior portrayals of these trains, our trains are portrayals
of the re-equipped consists as they were at the beginning of the 1950's.
The pinnacle of service operating on the Overland Route from Chicago to the West
Coast on a highly competitive route, these trains are well noted for having
outlasted their principal competitors. For the serious modeler / hobbyist,
no train could have greater significance.
