Following in our tradition of producing the finest in HO scale steam power, we are proud to announce the construction of five representatives of this class to be built for us by the master craftsmen of Samhongsa Co., Ltd.

The Chesapeake & Ohio Railroad took delivery of 50 heavy Mikados numbered 1210-1259 in late 1924. The success of the first group of 50 locomotives lead to the railroad’s subsequent order of 50 additional locomotives to be designated Class K3A. The second group of locomotives started a transition to larger tenders throughout these classes.
